Angels in Sodom

The three angels visits Abraham, by G. Doré. (Detail)
The first time the city of Sodom is mentioned in the Old Testament, is when Lot leaves Abraham and moves to the city. The Bible's reference on Sodom by that time is:

"But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly." (Gen. 13:13)

From that time and until the angels comes to Abraham to announce that the time for Sodom's judgement is at hand, 20 years pass. Then the Bible says:

"Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous..." (Gen. 18:20)

But this is not enough for the judgement to come over Sodom. It takes more to end the patience of God. A test also must be made, a direct confrontation between holy and unholy, between angels and humans, to make the iniquity be considered filled.

"...I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know." (v. 21)

God is seeking for a way not to have to condemn the city. He has, as it says in Ezekiel 33:11, "no pleasure in the death of the wicked", and He wasn't prepared to pass the verdict yet, even on this culture, which in that state still was considered very evil and sinful, with sin crying to heaven for revenge.

The test was that angels were sent to Sodom in human appearance, to see how they would be treated in the city.

When the two angels entered Sodom, they let themselves be persuaded to stay over night in Lot's home. At first their intention had been to stay in the street during the night, possibly to make a quick evaluation on how the citizens would act against them. But Lot "pressed upon them greatly", and they entered his house. The first impression thus may have been to the city's advantage. The hospitality of Lot could have saved them, if it not had been for a sudden knock on the door.

During the evening supper, the house had been surrounded by men, young and old, who had heard that strangers had come to the city. The text reveals that they considered as their civil right to have male visitors paying their visits by sharing in homosexual acts. The text says that the whole male population of the city had gathered outside Lot's house. This exiting event must have been arranged like this: Some of the men committed the rapings, or, if the guests didn't dare to resist, the shameful acts, while the rest of the people watched and hindered the victims to flee. Thus a kind of public gang-rapes, which took place with the authorities' permission, supposedly even with their participation.

Why I think about the "Pride Parade" here, I don't know, but there is something in the setting that reminds of it, even if "our" society is just in the primary stages to this.

The angels stopped the intended abuse, but now they knew, and the Angel of the Lord, who was waiting for their report, knew the state of the people of Sodom. Lot were given the order to flee with his family.

These men now had not only condemned themselves, but also their possible wifes, their mothers, and their own daughters, to be destroyed in Sodom - together with the other four cities subjected to and as fallen as, Sodom. These men's madness and their manipulation of the laws of their society (for that is what must have preceded this), resulted in that not only they, but the whole population, now would be dragged down in destruction.

We know that the judgements of God, our Creator, can come in that way. Natural disasters destroy without discrimination. The husband is his family's head, and in those cases were these men had families (although I guess in this stage they were small and with few infants, if any at all), their father's sins would also hit them. If there were any innocents among them, who hadn't the ability to understand how bad the situation was, then God knew this person. But all the others, the whole city's perverted and contaminated population, now must be removed from the world. They had gone too far, and had proved that the cry that had reached heaven would go on, if nothing happened.

I have a feeling that this cry must have been the silent cry from those children that had grown up in the city and most probably had been sexually abused. And perhaps also all those children who hadn't been allowed to be born, because the men had abandoned their normal relations and had become slaves under perversions. Their wifes must have been disgusted. (That is, at first - after some community training and premonitions about being excluded from society, they surely joined and started to think that it all was absolutely lovely.)

It was this intended abuse, first of angels and then of a rightheous man, that made the measure of sin run over. Therefore the cry that were heard previousley, must have been of the same kind, that is, abuses on innocents. The homophilia that had been there in an earlier stage (if we assume it was that which was referred to 20 years earlier), thus wasn't of the same kind as the one now ravaging the cities. It had that within itself, that it would develope into this, if it were not stopped, but it wasn't that which brought the judgement on a whole population.

A society that admittedly has elements of this, but still keeps some restrictions against it, will not be condemned as a whole, or as a collective, by God. There must be more than that. This is also apparent in the Book of Revelation, where it speaks about another cry, from Christian martyres, who are promised there will come a day of justice for the world in which they had lived and died. So, it is the call from the innocent, the ones who are falsely imprisoned, condemned, raped, and murdered, which will bring judgement over a nation.

This of course does not mean that the sodomy present in our time is acceptable. It is, if it is allowed to go on developing its inward evil, the pre-stage to that which will lead to the final judgement. It already has revealed that it doesn't flinch to put people who stands in its way, in prison. It has got that wish, and it is working close to madness for it.

In a fully developed Sodom, then, thousands of innocent humans will be imprisoned because they don't bow for sodomy. In a ripe Sodom, it will be illegal to report homosexuals for rape or abuse. No one will be allowed to resist - it will be expected that it's every one's desire to revel in this, without hesitations, just as we saw in the first Sodom.

In the same way as those who today feels that homosexuality is a sin, will get branded as mental cases and treated as outcasts, those who doesn't want to share or be shared by the perverts, will, when the social change has reached its final stage, be viewed as evil, abnormal, and inhibited by obsolete patriarchical conceptions. Every one will be raised to without hesitations take part in, or to let themselves be exploited, by those who have no hesitations. This indoctrination will start from early childhood, in day nurseries and preschools. It already has started, and the law of progress will keep it going, until there are no more borders to break down. And it all will be considered absolutely normal.

These thoughts and enactments already are present and prepared, in influential lobby organizations, and are spreading from them, via ideolological and manipulative agitation. It goes on, and step by step, it is approaching its fullfillment.

So, Sweden, and many other western nations, really are sodomitic cultures. They are in the pre-stages, definitely.

The only ones who can stop this, are the Christians. We can do it, we can turn the progress around. We can stand in the way, be the lights that diverts the darkness, and the salt that stops the social decomposition.

It's up to us. If we don't do it, all this will happen.
